Lemon Bay is 0-10 against Charlotte since December of 2018 but things could change on Wednesday. The Lemon Bay Manta Rays will be playing in front of their home fans against the Charlotte Fightin' Tarpons at 7:30 p.m. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Saturday, Lemon Bay had just enough and edged North Fort Myers out 45-42.

Meanwhile, Charlotte had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 20.3 points) and they went ahead and made it four on Tuesday. They enjoyed a cozy 59-41 victory over the Bobcats. Given the Fightin' Tarpons' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 96th, while the Bobcats are ranked 541st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Charlotte is also on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.6 points per game. As for Lemon Bay, their win bumped their record up to 7-10.
