Basketball Recap: Doniphan Comes Up Short

Doniphan was the 58-49 winner over Neelyville when they last played one another last Tuesday, but their luck changed this time around. The Doniphan Dons fell 49-36 to the Neelyville Tigers on Thursday. The Dons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Doniphan's loss dropped their record down to 11-10. As for Neelyville, their victory bumped their record up to 10-13.

Doniphan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, an 85-75 defeat against South Pemiscot on the 15th. As for Neelyville, they will challenge Holcomb at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Neelyville is facing Holcomb at the right time seeing as Holcomb is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
