Grove City had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They came out on top against the Hilliard Darby Panthers by a score of 4-1. That's more bragging rights for the Greyhounds, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Grove City pushed their record up to 19-9 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.0 runs over those games. As for Hilliard Darby, they moved to 17-12 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak.
