Volleyball Recap: Asbury Takes a Loss

Asbury lost against Brindlee Mountain back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Rams came up short against the Lions, falling 3-0.

While Asbury was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Brindlee Mountain's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-5, 25-7, 25-12.

Asbury's defeat dropped their record down to 0-20. As for Brindlee Mountain, their win ended a three-match drought at home and bumped them up to 16-27.

The two teams are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. Asbury will square off against Alabama School of Cyber Technology and Engineering at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brindlee Mountain, they will take on Whitesburg Christian Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
