Soccer Recap: Benicia Triumphs

Benicia's game on Tuesday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They had just enough and edged the Alhambra Bulldogs out 3-2. The Panthers better thank their lucky stars for the performance of Thomas Jouvenot-Sells, as he scored every single goal for his team.

Benicia's win bumped their record up to 9-3-3. As for Alhambra, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-8.

Benicia has already played their next match (against San Rafael), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Alhambra and Ygnacio Valley will meet in a dog eat dog contest at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ygnacio Valley will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Alhambra surely won't give up without a fight.
