Basketball Recap: St. John Bosco Falls Short Against Ranked Paul VI

St. John Bosco is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Paul VI. The St. John Bosco Braves fell just short of the Paul VI Panthers by a score of 60-57. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Braves of the 71-53 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why St. John Bosco lost, don't look at Chris Komin. Despite the final result, he went 6 for 11 en route to 16 points and four steals. Another player making a difference was Elzie Harrington, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and five steals.

St. John Bosco's loss dropped their record down to 18-3. As for Paul VI, the victory was the eighth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-3.
