Volleyball Recap: Enfield Victorious

While Enfield's win against Norwich Free Academy wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Eagles narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Wildcats 3-2. The Eagles have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Wildcats on Saturday, too.

Enfield took Norwich Free Academy into a fifth set where they got it done with a two-point win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 24-26, 25-27, 25-23, 16-14.

Joseph Capasso was the offensive standout of the matchup as he had 12 digs and one assist. Those 12 digs gave him a new career-high.

Enfield now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Norwich Free Academy, they moved to 5-7 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Enfield will face off against East Hartford at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Eagles are facing the Hornets at the right time seeing as the Hornets are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Norwich Free Academy, they will challenge Wolcott RVT at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
