Soccer Game Preview: Calloway County vs. Graves County

The Calloway County Lakers will head out to challenge the Graves County Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Calloway County knows how to get goals on the board -- the squad has finished with four goals or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Graves County likes a good challenge.

Calloway County is headed in fresh off scoring the most goals they have all season. They blew past Warren Central 13-0 on Saturday. Give Calloway County's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Meanwhile, after soaring to eight goals the game before, Graves County was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They lost 4-0 to Caldwell County.

Graves County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Calloway County, their victory bumped their record up to 14-1-1.

Calloway County took their win against Graves County in their previous matchup back in August by a conclusive 9-1 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Lakers since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
