 In what's become a running theme this season, Kamiakin gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They blew past the Hermiston Bulldogs 17-4. The  victory was some much needed relief for Kamiakin as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
  Lizzie O'Leary made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 12 batters over  five innings while giving up  four earned runs off only  two  hits. O'Leary has been consistent recently: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in three consecutive pitching appearances. O'Leary was also big at the plate,  going 3-for-4 with a  home run and a  double.
 In other batting news,  Halle Dilger was a standout: she fired off two  home runs, six  RBI,  and three  runs while going 2-for-3.  Aaralyn Smith-Vick was another key contributor,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run, five  RBI,  and two  runs.
 Kamiakin's win bumped their record up to 12-4. As for Hermiston, they have  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost six of their last eight games,  which put a noticeable dent in their 7-10 record  this season.
 The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Kamiakin beat Hermiston by a score of  14-4 later that day.
