Basketball Recap: Salisbury Township Comes Up Short

If Salisbury Township was riding high fresh off their 60-33 takedown of Moravian Academy last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Salisbury Township Falcons fell 53-40 to the Saucon Valley Panthers on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Saucon Valley was led to victory by Jack Robertson and Caleb Grim. Robertson dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards, while Grim made all 5 shots he took for 11 points. The dominant performance also gave Grim a new career-high in assists (four). Andrew Gilbert was another key player, putting up ten points.

Salisbury Township's defeat dropped their record down to 11-7. As for Saucon Valley, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 12-4.
