Football Recap: McKeel Academy Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for McKeel Academy's offense. They took a 19-0 bruising from the Lake Gibson Braves on Tuesday. The defeat leaves the Wildcats still looking for their first win of the season.

McKeel Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lake Gibson, their win ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. McKeel Academy will head out to square off against Lake Region at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Gibson, they will venture away from home to face off against George Jenkins at 7:00 p.m. on March 11th. George Jenkins has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 149 points over their last three games.
