Softball Recap: Southeast Polk Takes a Loss

Southeast Polk was the 6-0 winner over Johnston when they last played one another back in June of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Rams took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dragons on Tuesday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Southeast Polk's loss dropped their record down to 15-11. As for Johnston, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 9-14.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Southeast Polk is set to challenge their familiar foe Dowling Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Johnston will take on rival Waukee at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
