Baseball Game Preview: Fairview Yellowjackets vs. East Robertson Indians

The Fairview Yellowjackets will challenge the East Robertson Indians at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Fairview has struggled recently with seven defeats in a row, while East Robertson will arrive with three straight victories.

Fairview managed to slip by Camden Central the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Yellowjackets came up short against the Lions on Thursday, falling 12-6.

East Robertson came out on top against Friendship Christian on Tuesday thanks in part to the team's impressive seven-run fourth inning. The Indians were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over the Commanders. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won nine games by six runs or more so far this season.

East Robertson's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-8. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Fairview, their loss dropped their record down to 7-11.
