Volleyball Game Preview: Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots vs. Topsail Pirates + How To Watch

The Wilmington Christian Academy Patriots are taking a road trip to face off against the Topsail Pirates at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.

Having struggled with three defeats in a row, Wilmington Christian Academy turned things around against Greenville Christian Academy on Friday. They blew past the Knights 3-0.

Wilmington Christian Academy was especially dominant in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-20, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Topsail made easy work of West Brunswick on Thursday and carried off a 3-0 win.

Topsail never let West Brunswick on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-11.

Wilmington Christian Academy now has a winning record of 12-11. As for Topsail, their victory bumped their record up to 13-5.

Wilmington Christian Academy suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to Topsail in their previous meeting back in August. Can the Patriots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
