Recap: Christian Academy Saints vs. Pee Dee Academy Eagles
The Christian Academy Saints waltzed into their contest on Friday with six straight wins but they left with seven. They walked away with a 47-34 win over Pee Dee Academy. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Christian Academy also won the last time the pair played last Wednesday.
Brayden Hendrix went supernova for Christian Academy, scoring 23 points along with two steals. Hendrix is crushing the point category: he's posted at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jack Green, who scored 11 points along with six rebounds.
Christian Academy's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-8. As for Pee Dee Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
Christian Academy will be playing in front of their home fans against Williamsburg Academy at 7:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Christian Academy focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up nine on Friday. As for Pee Dee Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Carolina Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Carolina Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
