Volleyball Game Preview: North Central Thunderbirds vs. Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers

The North Central Thunderbirds will head out to take on the Hutsonville/Palestine Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. North Central comes in still looking for their first win of the season.

North Central's tournament run continued when they took on Red Hill on Saturday. The Thunderbirds fell just short of the Salukis by a score of 2-1.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, North Central sadly wound up on the wrong side. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 19-25, 15-6.

Meanwhile, Hutsonville/Palestine came up short against Lawrenceville on Saturday and fell 2-0. The Tigers have struggled against the Indians recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-12.

Hutsonville/Palestine's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for North Central, their loss dropped their record down to 0-18.

North Central couldn't quite get it done against Hutsonville/Palestine in their previous matchup on Saturday as they fell 2-0. Can the Thunderbirds avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
