A healthy portion of that aerial production (87 yards to be exact) went to Gabe Janisse, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Given the Cougars' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Slicers are ranked 160th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Goshen lost to New Prairie at home by a decisive 29-10 margin in their previous matchup back in August of 2023. Thankfully for Goshen, Marshall Kmiecik (who rushed for 174 yards and two touchdowns on only 14 carries, and also threw for 52 yards and a touchdown) won't be suiting up this time.
