Baseball Recap: John Glenn Takes a Loss

After soaring to ten runs the game before, John Glenn was a bit more limited in their contest on Saturday. They fell 7-2 to the Lakewood Lancers. The defeat continues a trend for the Little Muskies in their meetings with the Lancers: they've now lost four in a row.

John Glenn saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carter Merry, who went 1-for-3 with one run. Owen Edwards also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

John Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Lakewood, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 9-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. John Glenn will face off against River View at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Lakewood, they will take on Northridge at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
