Volleyball Recap: A.L. Brown's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

If A.L. Brown was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Mooresville last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. A.L. Brown fell 3-1 to the South Iredell Vikings on Friday. The loss put an end to the Wonders' undefeated start to the season.

A.L. Brown was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made South Iredell work for it, especially in the third set. The final score came out to 25-14, 23-25, 29-27, 25-23.

Chris Macedo paced A.L. Brown's offense, picking up 12 kills. Macedo got some help from Vinny Nguyen and his 42 assists.

Having lost for the first time this season, A.L. Brown fell to 3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. A.L. Brown is set to challenge their familiar foe Christ the King at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, South Iredell will face off against rival Reagan at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are still undefeated (South Iredell has four wins dating back to last season, while Reagan has three dating back to last season).
