Volleyball Recap: Park City's Run of Five Straight Wins Now Over

Park City and Desert Hills squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Park City had to settle for second. They came up short against the Thunder, falling 3-0. The Miners were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Among those leading the charge was Sam Spencer, who had 15 digs and two assists. She has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

The loss snapped Park City's winning streak at five matches and leaves them with a 17-11 record. As for Desert Hills, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-8.

Park City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Dixie on the 27th. As for Desert Hills, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Ridgeline on the 27th.
