Baseball Recap: Hamilton Christian Wins Going Away Against Oberlin

After low-scoring totals in their previous three contests, Hamilton Christian brought some dynamite into their most recent match. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the Oberlin Tigers on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Warriors as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Noah Menard was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Grant Menard, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

The victory got Hamilton Christian back to even at 10-10. As for Oberlin, they moved to 6-14 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Coming up, Hamilton Christian will challenge Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Eagles will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Warriors surely won't give up without a fight. Oberlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
