Harker Heights is 5-0 against Hutto since November of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Harker Heights Knights will be playing at home against the Hutto Hippos at 7:00 p.m. Harker Heights has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 342 points over their last five games.
Last Friday, Harker Heights didn't have too much trouble with Midway on the road as they won 69-54. Given Harker Heights' advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while Midway is ranked 335th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hutto posted their biggest victory since November 21, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Ennis with a sharp 68-47 victory. The win made it back-to-back wins for Hutto.
Cylin Tate continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 18 points along with four steals. He hasn't dropped below 15points for three straight games. Jacob Bell was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
Harker Heights has been performing well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season. As for Hutto, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13.
Harker Heights didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Hutto in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 60-54 win. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Tate, who dropped a double-double on 17 points and ten rebounds.
