Soccer Recap: Northwestern Regional Takes a Loss

Northwestern Regional's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Lakeview Warriors by a score of 2-1. That's two games in a row now that Northwestern Regional have lost by just one goal.

Northwestern Regional has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4-1 record this season. As for Lakeview, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northwestern Regional will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Shepaug Valley at 3:45 p.m. on October 9. As for Lakeview, they will take on Nonnewaug at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
