Baseball Recap: Chattanooga Christian Takes a Loss

The Chattanooga Christian Chargers didn't have quite enough to beat the Herndon Hornets on Monday and fell 5-4. The Chargers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Chattanooga Christian saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keegan Nieckula, who scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Chattanooga Christian's loss dropped their record down to 15-10. As for Herndon, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chattanooga Christian will welcome Silverdale Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Herndon, they will be playing at home against George C. Marshall at 6:30 p.m. on the 22nd.
