Basketball Recap: East Central's Win Ends Four-Game Losing Streak at Home

East Central came into Saturday's game having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Stone Tomcats by a score of 43-33 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hornets also won the last time the pair played back in February of 2024.

East Central's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-7. As for Stone, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Central will square off against Vancleave at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Stone, they will head out on the road to take on Laurel at 6:00 a.m. on Monday. Laurel will roll in looking for their 19th straight win, something Stone surely won't give up without a fight.
