Baseball Recap: Spokane Comes Up Short

Spokane was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 7-2 to the Seymour Tigers. The match marked the Owls' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Spokane saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Wyatt Sportsman, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Spokane's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Seymour, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season.

Spokane will head out to square off against Ava at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Seymour, they will challenge Bakersfield at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
