Canon City has gone a perfect 10-0 against Palmer recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Tigers will head out to square off against the Terrors at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Canon City has three straight victories, Palmer has four straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

On Thursday, Canon City needed a bit of extra time to put away Mesa Ridge. They walked away with a 5-2 win over the Grizzlies.

Eric Chavez was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI. Trey Schumaker was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Palmer lost 13-6 to Coronado on Thursday. That's two games in a row now that the Terrors have lost by exactly seven runs.

Conner Dozeman was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two runs and one triple.

Palmer's loss dropped their record down to 3-12. As for Canon City, their victory bumped their record up to 8-6.

Canon City took their win against Palmer when the teams last played back in April of 2024 by a conclusive 19-1 score. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Terrors turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
