Baseball Recap: Guthrie Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Guthrie's offense. They lost 7-0 to the Carl Albert Titans on Tuesday. The Bluejays have struggled against the Titans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Guthrie's loss dropped their record down to 15-6. As for Carl Albert, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 22-4.

Coming up, Guthrie will look to defend their home field on Thursday against Chickasha at 10:00 a.m. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Bluejays 3.7, the Fighting Chicks 2.9) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Carl Albert, they will take on Pryor in a tournament on Friday.
