            Volleyball Recap: Beech Grove Hornets vs. Warren Central Warriors        
        
		
        
        
            If Beech Grove was riding high  fresh off their  3-0 takedown of Purdue Polytechnic on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hornets lost  3-0 to the Warren Central Warriors on Wednesday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Hornets of the  3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2024.
 Beech Grove took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 26-24,  28-26.
Their offense was headlined by  Ryker LeTourneau and  Tyler Bellows, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from  Aidyn Collins and his 11 assists. Bellows was also solid from the service line:  he led the team with three aces.
Beech Grove has  traveled a rocky road recently, having  lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-7 record  this season. As for Warren Central, their victory  ended  an  11-game drought on the road  dating back to last season and  puts them at 4-7.
 Beech Grove has  already played their next  contest (against Herron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Warren Central, they will take on Madison in a tournament  on Saturday.
