Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Evans). They came out on top against the Lakeside Panthers by a score of 76-64 on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-58 last Saturday.

Evans' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chandler Love led the charge by going 6 of 13 on his way to 16 points and three steals. The dominant performance gave Love a new career-high in steals. Another player making a difference was Tizher Scott, who posted 15 points.

Evans smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with ten offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Evans' record is now 8-13. As for Lakeside, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-11.

Evans has already played their next game, a 51-49 win against Effingham County on the 4th. As for Lakeside, they will square off against Evans at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Lakeside's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
