Volleyball Recap: Belton Comes Up Short

After flying high against McNeil on Tuesday, Belton came back down to earth. The Tigers took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the La Vernia Bears on Thursday.

Belton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for La Vernia, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Belton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Leander on the 14th. As for La Vernia, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Troy on the 14th.
