Basketball Recap: Chamois Comes Up Short

Chamois was the 54-36 winner over St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K when they last played one another back in January of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. The Chamois Pirates were dealt a 69-36 defeat at the hands of the St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K Knights on Saturday. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

James Collins was a one-man wrecking crew for St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K as he went 8 of 11 on his way to 21 points and six rebounds. Collins continues to improve, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Nathan Reed, who went 6 for 9 to rack up 12 points and five steals.

Chamois' loss dropped their record down to 13-10. As for St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-15.

Chamois has already played their next match (against Lutheran), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for St. Louis Christian HomeSchool K, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, an 85-70 win against Missouri Military Academy on the 8th.
