Big Game from Shoemaker As Cozad Fell 29-26

Starting off the list is Cozad's Noah Shoemaker, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Shoemaker rushed for 143 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 7.2 yards per carry, and also threw for 186 yards on 18 of 28 attempts. He didn't just play on offense: he also made five total tackles and defended a pass.

Cozad moved to 5-2 with that loss, which also ended their five-game winning streak. Shoemaker and Cozad will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Minden at 7:00 p.m. on October 25th.
