Preview: Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs vs. Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans        
        
		
            
 Summerfield Waldorf is 1-9 against Rio Lindo Adventist since January of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit  on Tuesday. The Summerfield Waldorf Mustangs will be staying on the road  to face off against the Rio Lindo Adventist Spartans at 6:30  p.m.  on January 16th. Summerfield Waldorf will be strutting in after a  victory while Rio Lindo Adventist will be coming in after a  loss.
 Last Thursday, Summerfield Waldorf didn't have too much trouble with Trinity Prep on the road   as they won  67-53. 67 seems to be a good number for Summerfield Waldorf as the  team scooped up a  victory with the same number of  points in their previous game.
 Rio Lindo Adventist suffered their biggest  defeat yet this season on Thursday. They ended up on the wrong side of a  tough 75-50 walloping at the hands of Napa Christian. Rio Lindo Adventist was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  50-27.
 The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was  Jhordany Barcenas, who  scored 17 points along with seven  rebounds and six  assists. He has been hot recently, having posted two or more  steals the last three times he's  played.  Jordan Campbell was another key contributor,  scoring 20 points along with six  rebounds.
 Summerfield Waldorf's victory  ended a four-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 3-7. As for Rio Lindo Adventist, they now  have a losing record at 4-5.
 Summerfield Waldorf couldn't quite finish off Rio Lindo Adventist in their previous meeting  back in December of 2022 and fell  57-54. Can Summerfield Waldorf avenge their  defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
