Basketball Recap: Pickens Academy Comes Up Short

Pickens Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Pickens County Tornadoes and fell 58-22. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 53-47 last Friday.

Pickens Academy's loss dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Pickens County, their victory bumped their record up to 5-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pickens Academy will head out to challenge Berry at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Pickens County, they are taking a road trip to take on West Lowndes at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
