Taunton waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with five straight wins... but they left with six. Everything went their way against the Milford Scarlet Hawks as they made off with a 3-0 win. While the Tigers didn't have the best season last year (they finished 5-15), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

The match came down to the wire multiple times:two sets needed extra rallies to declare a winner. The final score came out to 26-24, 25-21, 27-25.

Taunton can attribute much of their success to Dantae Bauer, who had 14 digs and three assists. That's the most assists Bauer has posted since back in May of 2024. Syre Duverna also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Taunton pushed their record up to 8-1 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Milford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-3.

Taunton has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Barnstable on the 30th. As for Milford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Lexington on the 30th.
