Baseball Recap: Peetz Comes Up Short

Peetz couldn't beat Sedgwick County on Saturday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the third inning. The Bulldogs fell just short of the Cougars by a score of 9-8. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Cougars recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Rhyder Bayne made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-4 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Peetz is 5-1 when Bayne posts two or more runs, but 1-11 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Colton Segelke, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
