On Tuesday, everything went the Coolidge Colts's way against the Bowie Bulldogs as the Coolidge Colts made off with a 72-46 win. The Colts have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 contests by 26 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Coolidge to victory, but perhaps none more so than Josslyn Derricott, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 18 boards. The match was Derricott's fourth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kahmya Dixon, who posted 22 points along with six rebounds and five steals.

Coolidge smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in eight consecutive games.

Coolidge has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-2 record this season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 22.3 points per game. As for Bowie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-5.

Coolidge won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Ballou at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Bowie, they will take on Wise at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
