Baseball Recap: Robbinsdale Cooper Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Robbinsdale Cooper's offense. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 10-0 to the Academy of Holy Angels Stars, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Hawks haven't had much luck with the Stars recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Robbinsdale Cooper's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Academy of Holy Angels, they have been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Robbinsdale Cooper will venture away from home to face off against Park Center/Columbia Heights/Maranatha at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Pirates will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Hawks surely won't give up without a fight. As for Academy of Holy Angels, they will head out on the road to challenge Kennedy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Eagles' pitching crew has only allowed 3.2 runs per game this season, so the Stars' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
