Volleyball Recap: Bremen's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Bremen had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Caston Comets on Saturday. This was payback for the Lions, who suffered a 2-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Eliana Grubbs paced Bremen's offense, picking up five kills. Grubbs got some help from Emma Kincaid and her 23 assists. Grubbs was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Bremen's victory bumped their record up to 12-5. As for Caston, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 12 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-15 record this season.

Bremen wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-2 defeat against Plymouth on the 16th. As for Caston, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-2 loss against Oregon-Davis on the 16th.
