Basketball Recap: Dinwiddie Triumphs

Dinwiddie won the last time they faced Prince George, and Madisyn Hurtt did her part to make sure it happened again. The Dinwiddie Generals came out on top against the Prince George Royals by a score of 55-47 on Tuesday thanks in part to Hurtt, who posted 36 points. Those 36 points gave her a new career-high.

Dinwiddie's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Prince George, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-8.

Dinwiddie will challenge Petersburg at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Dinwiddie is facing Petersburg at the right time seeing as Petersburg is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Prince George, they won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Godwin at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
