Recap: Auburn Eagles vs. Fort Chiswell Pioneers
The Auburn Eagles lost against the Fort Chiswell Pioneers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. Auburn received a tough blow as they fell 60-44 to Fort Chiswell. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Auburn in their matchups with Fort Chiswell: they've now lost three in a row.
Blair Jackson had a dynamite game for Fort Chiswell, scoring 37 points along with 4 steals. That makes it two consecutive games in which Jackson has scored at least 25% of Fort Chiswell's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sadie Robinson, who scored 11 points along with 5 steals.
Auburn's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Fort Chiswell, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-0.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
