Volleyball Recap: Parkland Mustangs vs. Reagan Raiders

After flying high against Carver last Wednesday, Parkland came back down to earth. The Parkland Mustangs came up short against the Reagan Raiders on Thursday, falling 3-0. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Mustangs of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September.

The final score came out to 25-1, 25-10, 25-8.

Klaire Weiss went supernova for Reagan, getting seven aces and 12 assists. Those seven aces gave Weiss a new career-high.

Parkland has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-10 record this season. As for Reagan, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 24-5 record this season.

Parkland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Davie on the 8th. Reagan has also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Mount Tabor on the 8th.
