Basketball Game Preview: Valencia Tigers vs. Santa Ana Saints

It was a proper cat-fight when Valencia duked it out withWestminster on Friday. Valencia claimed a resounding 69-32 win over Westminster. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Santa Ana posted their biggest victory since November 22, 2024 on Friday. They blew past Buena Park 65-37. The Saints pushed the score to 54-21 by the end of the third, a deficit the Coyotes cut but never quite recovered from.

Valencia better keep an eye on Issac Alvarez. He was instrumental in Santa Ana's win, putting up 24 points. The game was Alvarez's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan Rivera, who posted 13 points.

Valencia pushed their record up to 17-7 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.
