Basketball Recap: Randolph Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Randolph, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They put the hurt on the Great Hearts Northern Oaks Griffins with a sharp 44-24 win on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 51-41 on January 7th.

Despite the loss, Great Hearts Northern Oaks saw an underclassman step up: freshman DeLaney Paulos posted 13 points.

Randolph pushed their record up to 11-13 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.0 points per game. As for Great Hearts Northern Oaks, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-13 record this season.

Coincidentally, Randolph and Great Hearts Northern Oaks will both be playing Young Women's Leadership Academy the next time they take the court. Randolph will host Young Women's Leadership Academy at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday, while Great Hearts Northern Oaks will head out to face them at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
