Soccer Game Preview: Mesquite vs. Lancaster

The Mesquite Skeeters will face off against the Lancaster Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. Mesquite will be strutting in after a victory while Lancaster will be coming in after a defeat.

On Thursday, it was close, but Mesquite sidestepped Cedar Hill for a 2-1 win.

Meanwhile, Friday just wasn't the day for Lancaster's offense. They lost 12-0 to Duncanville on Friday. The loss continues a trend for Lancaster in their meetings with Duncanville: they've now lost three in a row.

Mesquite's victory bumped their record up to 5-6. As for Lancaster, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Mesquite beat Lancaster 2-0 when the teams last played back in February of 2025. Do the Skeeters have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Tigers turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
