Basketball Recap: Sneads Comes Up Short

Sneads lost against Bethlehem back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Sneads Pirates had to suffer through a 67-22 loss at the hands of the Bethlehem Wildcats. The Pirates have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Bethlehem's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Morgan Faircloth, who posted 16 points. The dominant performance gave Faircloth a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kale Cauley, who put up 15 points.

Sneads' defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Bethlehem, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-10.

Sneads wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 93-19 loss against Holmes County on the 28th. Bethlehem has also already played their next matchup, a 36-25 defeat against Northside Methodist Academy on the 27th.
