Soccer Recap: Green Level Comes Up Short

If Green Level was feeling good fresh off their 6-0 takedown of Cary last Wednesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Gators fell 2-0 to the Holly Springs Golden Hawks on Monday. The match was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Green Level couldn't quite close it out.

Green Level's defeat dropped their record down to 12-5. As for Holly Springs, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

Green Level has already played their next game, a 5-1 victory against Green Hope on the 30th. As for Holly Springs, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-0 win against Cary on the 30th.
