Soccer Recap: Thornton Plays to a Tie

While Thornton scored more goals than they have all season, the final result was a bit underwhelming. They and the Kennedy Commanders finished up on equal footing with a 1-1 draw on Tuesday. The result (or lack thereof) marked Thornton's first draw of the season.

Thornton's draw makes their record 0-5-1 this season. As for Kennedy, they moved theirs to 0-5-1.

Thornton didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 1-0 loss against Skyview on the 18th. As for Kennedy, they will have to wait a while for a more definitive result, as their next game is a ways away: they'll take on Denver North at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th. Denver North will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Kennedy surely won't give up without a fight.
