Baseball Recap: Mica Mountain Takes a Loss

While it was Mica Mountain who put the first points on the board on Tuesday, it was Ironwood Ridge who put up more. Mica Mountain lost 11-1 to Ironwood Ridge. The Thunderbolts have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Elijah Higuera was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 3-for-3. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Mica Mountain's loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1. As for Ironwood Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 11-2.

While Mica Mountain had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
